Baptism – Overview
Baptism is a significant step in the life of a child.  It is the beginning of the journey of faith towards God, who is the source of life.  It is a journey in which we grow in a relationship with God.

Baptism is much more than a private family celebration.  It marks the person’s entry into the Christian community.  This community then promises to love, care for and support parents in their responsibility for raising their child in the ways of faith and as a follower of Jesus Christ.
